Head of Sales & Events | HMS Ferries / Oklahoma River Cruises | 2011 - Present

  

  • Event Programming: Manage full sales and event lifecycle, successfully contracting, and executing 75+ private charter events and 100+ public themed events annually.
  • Charter Management: Serve as primary account representative for charter contracts, guiding clients from initial consultation through event execution. Expertly manage variables for private events, ensure timely contract execution and payment, and conduct  post-event follow-up to guarantee customer satisfaction and gather critical feedback.
  • Digital Strategy & Customer Experience: Orchestrate the program's online presence by managing the online ticketing system, writing  compelling event descriptions, and communicating details across digital profiles and community calendars. Enhanced data collection by generating creative strategies to boost informative survey response rates.
  • Operational Execution: Single-handedly created and produce annually the flagship "Haunt the River Cruises" event, the program's highest-attended annual occasion, contributing to annual growth. Maintain brand consistency through lite graphic design, updated landing signage, and management of all physical and digital customer touchpoints.
  • Technology  & Logistics Coordination: Maintain and update all front-line technology, including POS and their operational software, ensuring seamless service delivery. Proactively manage complex calendar scheduling to prevent conflicts with neighboring organizations and optimize venue utilization.

Executive Director | Oklahoma Venture Forum | 2014 - December 2025 (Contracted Part-Time)

  •  Strategic Leadership & Financial Acumen: Consolidated all third-party vendor functions—including web management, bookkeeping, and graphic design—into the Executive Director role, eliminating external costs and boosting the operational budget. Direct full-cycle financial reporting for 200+ members, including bookkeeping, reporting, and online payment portal.
  • Digital Transformation & Operational Scale: Spearheaded a comprehensive      digital transformation, increasing operational complexity 2-3x by implementing advanced membership and financial management systems. This enabled a successful pivot to hybrid events during the pandemic, maintaining 95%-member retention, and facilitated a statewide membership expansion in 2020.
  • End-to-End Event & Program Management: Single-handedly manage the entire lifecycle of 13+ annual events. This includes independently coordinating 8 luncheons (27+ speakers), 2 kickoff events, and a major awards ceremony—overseeing all logistics from venue catering to  introducing streaming services to broaden audience reach.
  • Integrated Promotions & Communications Engine: Engineered a 400% increase in communications output by developing and managing a complete digital ecosystem. Personally authored all content—including newsletters, press releases, and 238+ email templates—while managing 3 social media platforms, a podcast, blog, and YouTube channel to drive engagement across Oklahoma.

Facility Director | Montgomery Event Center | 2006 - 2011

  •  Directed all operations for a 3,000 sq. ft. event center, achieving record-high      occupancy by successfully planning and executing hundreds of events for 150-500 attendees.
  • Held full  P&L responsibility, managing sales, marketing, vendor relations, and      personnel to drive revenue and cultivate a reputation for excellence.
